And Her Mother Cried

Broken home, shattered dreams
Sure looks like a murder scene.

A mother cries as her daughter dies.
My God what have you done?
A friend is lost, a young Mother is gone
And there are the blood stains on his hands.

What lies beneath, what lies between
Not everything is what it seems.
What happened to the happy couple they use to be
Beneath the fake smiles there were tears that ran miles

A funeral was held without a care.
How much more can anyone bare.
Anger spills and fights everywhere
In the end will Justice prevail.

Who will be there for her children?
Who will hold them now?
Reading bed time stories and fairy tales,
And playing Santa at Christmas time.

A trial was held, lies were told by some
Thank God the Judge was wise and stern.
Many cried and many cheered
When he got 60 years.

But who will love her children.
